The Advocate Program is a year-long professional development program that supports teachers, mentors, and other STEM educators who are working to increase the number of students who enter STEM research competitions.

The Aerial Drone Competition (Introductory Level) provides middle and high school students with a unique, hands-on learning experience to develop precision drone-flying skills. It seeks to foster communication, collaboration, and the ability to solve challenges with confidence while learning STEM skills.

The Aerial Drone Competition (Pro) provides high school students with opportunities to build on their technical knowledge of drone assembly, engineering design, industry applications, and unmanned aerial vehicle career paths.

Alamo STEM Summer Externships for Educators provides industry-based externships for K-12 teachers. During this experience, a cohort of teachers receives training to lead activities in their school communities that promote awareness of DoW STEM resources, workforce development skills, and interdisciplinary STEM connections. Teachers also participate in field-based experiences and conduct research on STEM-related projects during their industry placements.

Alamo STEM Youth Summit is a one-day event for middle and high school students aimed at broadening STEM career awareness by connecting students with local mentors. Students engage in hands-on workshops designed to build leadership skills.

Camp Invention is a summer STEM enrichment program for students in grades K–6 that uses hands‑on, inquiry‑based activities to develop creativity, inventive thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Through structured invention challenges, participants engage with core STEM concepts, explore a range of STEM fields and careers, and build foundational entrepreneurial skills related to ideation, design, testing, and iteration.

TGR Foundation's Career-Connected Learning Program pilots and expands the Career Connected Learning (CCL) model across DSEC and especially the hub regions, with a goal of ensuring students engage in experiences directly linked to STEM career pathways. Students participate in hands-on, experiential learning activities focused on pathways to future STEM careers.

Career Connections Pathways focuses on career exploration for students highlighting the academic and training opportunities required to pursue various STEM fields and related interests. Starting with remotely operated vehicle (ROV) educational content, this program includes resources focused on content, skills, and careers related to the areas of autonomous subsystems, programming/coding, core enabling technology development, systems engineering, and project management.

Chief Science Officers is a year-long program to develop youth STEM leaders in grades 6–12 by giving them access to a global network and supporting them in enhancing their community and school programs. Students participate in leadership and mentorship experiences and increase their awareness of STEM careers and career pathways.

MSU Computer Coding Camps offer students opportunities to learn Python and other coding languages as they work with MSU computer science majors to learn about career pathways.
