Dayton STEM Empowerment Initiative is a comprehensive funding support program aimed at enhancing STEM opportunities for both students and educators within the Dayton region. This initiative is designed to leverage the thriving STEM ecosystem; positioning Dayton as a center for STEM innovation, education, and collaboration. By partnering with existing successful programs and introducing new avenues of support, this initiative seeks to foster a vibrant STEM community and empower participants to excel in STEM fields.
The MATHCOUNTS Competition Series is a national program giving middle school students the opportunity to participate as individuals and team members in competitions at the school, chapter, state, and national levels. It seeks to build confidence and expand students’ interest in mathematics.
For Students (PK–3), Science Saturdays is a live, free show that revives the science show Charles Kettering and his “Barn Gang” started in the early 20th century on the very same stage at the Engineers Club of Dayton. Although content is tailored for PreK and kindergarten, the show welcomes and engages audiences of all ages.
